Thames Gateway   1-2   Thurrock "B"

A game of two halves for us today.  In the first half we played magnificently, some great passing moves despite the conditions, against the wind and a tough Thurrock B side; we took the lead when Dibble controlled a cross magnificently before playing into the path of Cole who finished in style.  Shortly before half time Thurrock scored with a long free kick that got a deflection on the way. 

In the second half we failed to take advantage with the wind in our favour and Thurrock forced a goal to take a 2-1 lead.  Clear cut chances were hard to come by from both teams as defences and midfielders were particularly impressive.

Chapman was named man of the match for an excellent performance in defence for us and we made an award to his opposite number on the Thurrock B side.

Despite our recent run of form, we are still very much in the title race as we go into the Easter break.
