The theme this week is "Title Contenders" which both our teams certainly are this season.

In 1989 Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield to win the league in what was the final game of the season.  Michael Thomas scored the second crucial goal but who grabbed the Gunners' first that night to set up the win?  He played many games and scored many more goals for Arsenal, including the winner in the 1994 Cup Winners Cup Final.  He now co-commentates on Sky.
