THAMES GATEWAY FC

Sponsoring THAMES GATEWAY YFC

Why do we need a sponsor?
Thames Gateway FC is a small club with a great family atmosphere, based in Thurrock. Our main priority is to provide a safe and fun environment in which our boys can play football. We are competitive but place great emphasis on good sportsmanship and fair play.

The club undertakes many fund raising activities such as sponsored penalty shoot outs, raffles, social events, etc and also collect weekly subs and annual registration fees from all players. However, all club fees are held as low as possible to ensure that no individual is denied the opportunity to play on the grounds of costs. This approach does of course mean that the club relies on the generous support/sponsorship that organisations and companies kindly give. Back to top
What's in it for you?
Thames Gateway FC welcome any and all donations but we recognise that simply giving us money doesn't necessarily make good business sense. Most of our previous sponsors have provided money on the basis that the associated publicity will be good for their business and to that end we will endeavour to get local (Thurrock) media coverage. This will usually entail a photograph and short article placed in the Thurrock Gazette but we are also more than happy to hold photo sessions for other publications and/or your company or industry magazines.

Where you are able to provide sponsorship for our team kits (approx £700 per team) and/or tracksuits (approx £500 per team) we will also have your company name and logo printed on our shirts or tracksuit tops. Printing is subject to Football Association guidelines/rules which are fairly straightforward, e.g. no youth or children's team can promote alcoholic products (though Pub names are acceptable) and printing has to be within certain size limits. How can you help?
Primarily we need money for kits and tracksuits/all weather suits. Our two teams are currently aged U13 and U14 so these items have to be replaced on a fairly regular basis as the players outgrow them or simply wear them out.

We also have an ongoing need for equipment, e.g. footballs, training cones/poles, etc so even a small donation can bring real benefit to the players.

Any sum of money will be gratefully received and we will ensure you see exactly where the money goes. Back to top
